Today's Exhortation is titled : DON'T TURN AWAY- ABIDE IN GOD
Bible Refrences:
John 15:4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
15:6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. 15:7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
Some few days ago, my little boy came crying to me that he needs biscuits, he was indeed very Hungary, I told him I will buy him biscuits, the boy was happy, I bought the biscuits and gave him. I now told him to allow me open it and take one, the boy's countenance changed immediately, he said capital NO that he won't give me and he ran away.
This action got me puzzled up, this was a boy in need, I met his need, but he don't even care about my need.
Instantly the HOLYSPIRIT asked me, how are you treating God that meets your needs on a daily basis.
Self centeredness is a tool the devil is using today to turn our hearts away from God. If you are living for SELF, not too long, you will definitely TURN AWAY from God.
Self- centeredness makes us blind to opportunities that can better our lives.
Let us pray to God to give us the heart to be a blessing to others.
Many kings started well in the book of Chronicles in the bible, you will read that most of them did what was right in the sight of God, but not with a perfect heart, and at the end of the day they die and perish in their Sins, this will not be our portions in JESUS name Amen.
What can kill any believer is the take-out of Egypt that you refuse to kill that is still in you.
Matthew 6:21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
Today we will pray to God to deliver us from our secret sins and submit our weaknesses to God, He will surely strengthen us, Amen.
Let us continually put our actions under check to ensure we are not drifting away.
Let us pray for the spirit of Self-Control and perseverance to be able to overcome the temptations around us.
Until we take a decision to ABIDE in Him, we will not discover the full purpose of creation and our level of impact will be so small.
Let us allowthe WORD OF GOD dwell richly in us. The WORD is powerful, the WORD transforms, it heals and deliver from afflictions.
When we abide in God, our lives bears good FRUITS.
Today's Exhortation is to caution us, especially now that God will give us our POSSESSIONS. Please don't ever treat GOD or His Kingdom anyhow. I pray that non of us will miss it in life in JESUS name Amen.
